Founded in 2006 by Miss Marcia Sarosik
Her dream was to offer dance education opportunities to all kids. It became clear to her that there were children in our community that could not afford classes or to attend master classes, convention and other opportunities due to costs. Thus, Lake Tahoe Shining Stars mission was born to help make these opportunities more affordable to all students. In June of 2022 Miss Marcia passed away unexpectedly leaving a hole in our community that once shone so brightly. It was then that Miss Marcia's daughter, Lisa, decided it was imperative that this organization continue her mothers work. Lisa runs a highly sought after program for the City of North Las Vegas through the Recreation Dept. offering dance to over 200 children and is the proud President of Lake Tahoe's Shining Stars.
