Rising Star Endowment
we help them shine, you help them rise
The Lake Tahoe's Shining Stars invites donors to become personally invested in the successes of a Star. Each year 1-2 students ages 9-17 will be chosen as our Rising Star(s) or Shooting Star. This student will be chosen not only on their technical abilities but on their overall attitude, commitment & passion for the performing arts. This is a student or students we feel possess the ability and desire to continue dancing into their future but could possibly use a means by which to achieve this.

Students who receive the Rising Star sponsorship are awarded a full scholarship to attend weekly classes, costumes for recitals, one convention plus travel for the year or a portion of a summer program, plus two tickets to the spring recital.

Students who receive the Shooting Star sponsorship are awarded a full scholarship to attend weekly classes, costumes for the recital, one local workshop for the year, plus two tickets to the spring recital.

Donors will be recognized on the website, any social media posts when appropriate, at recitals both in person & in the program, as well as any times it would be appropriate to thank our donors. Donors will also receive 2 tickets to the recital in May.
